Fried Homemade Mozzarella Sticks Recipe

Ingredients
- Mozzarella
- Egg
- Milk
- Italian Breadcrumbs
- Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Salt
- Vegetable Oil
- Marinara Sauce
Recipe of Mozzarella Sticks
- Cut the mozzarella cheese brick into sixteen sticks, each measuring approximately 3 1/2″ in length.
- Beat together the eggs and milk in a small bowl. In a separate, shallow dish, like a pie plate, mix breadcrumbs with salt and Parmesan cheese.
- Place one at a time into the egg wash, drip off, then in the bread crumbs. Dip each mozzarella stick in the bread crumbs wet through twice before placing them on the sheet pan. Continue until all the cheese is coated and all of the crumbs have been extracted.
- Once in the freezer, place the mozzarella sticks and let them stay there for at least an hour.
- If you have no deep fryer, use a large pan. A thermometer should be used in testing and keeping the oil temperature.
- Work in batches. Fry it. Then, Remove thess from the oil to a tray.
- Cook mozzarella sticks and provide them hot, serve with marinara sauce for dunk.

- 1 pound mozzarella
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1½ cups Italian breadcrumbs
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
