Easy Vegetable Lo Mein and Sauce

A really simple midweek dinner that is full of vibrant, stir-fried vegetables is vegetable lo mein! This recipe is a hit with the whole family since it combines soft egg noodles and crunchy veggies in a flavorful sauce.

Lo Mein Recipe

  • As directed on the package, boil a big pot of water and cook the noodles. Pour through strainer and leave aside.
  • In a big skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil.
  • With the exception of the bean sprouts, add all the veggies. Simmer until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Cook the garlic for one more minute after adding it.
  • Add the bean sprouts, cooked noodles, and sauce, then toss to mix. Cook the noodles for 2 to 3 minutes, or until they are well warm.
  • If preferred, add sesame seeds on top, and serve right away.

Sauce recipe

  • Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and keep it away until you need it.
