  • Cook the ground beef and garlic in a big pan over medium heat, crumbling them, until the meat is no longer pink. Empty the grease.
  • Whisk together brown sugar, ginger, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pepper in a small bowl. Simmer for a further minute or two after adding the ground meat.
  • Add sesame seeds and green onions as garnish and serve over hot rice.
